How Independer provides free independent insight into current energy consumption
If you know what you consume, you can try to reduce your energy consumption to get a lower energy bill. Every kWh and m3 that you don't consume you don't have to pay, but also don't have to be generated. So it's also good for the climate. Normally, only your energy supplier can offer insight into your consumption. Via Independer's Verbruiksinzicht app you can see how much electricity and gas you have consumed per month, week and day.
EnergyZero secured a licence as an independent energy services provider for Independer, so that the company can legally collect consumption data from smart energy meters. Next, the data is used in Independer's consumption app. The app – built by EnergyZero, but fully branded – gives users an overview of their energy consumption and generation.
